When the best Airmail pilot Henri Guillaumet disappears in the Andes, his best friend Antoine de Saint-Exupéry decides to go in search of him against all odds. The little prince was in every home, so the author’s story was eagerly awaited. The story is about the time with his childhood friend Gillaumet and their work for the postal service between Argentina and Chile. So far so good. They are childhood friends and peers. Now here’s the problem, when they grew up the age difference is almost 20 years. So here’s my criticism. Why do they cast Cassal 57 years old to play a 29 year old? Saint Ex should be 30, played by a 41 year old is still fine. Diane Krueger was chosen to fit Cassal’s age. Does the French film industry have no young actors? So the choice of actors, although good actors, was terrible. The images were great, but the scenes on the plane were not realistic!

Misfit cousins reunite for a tour of Poland to honor their beloved grandmother, but their old differences resurface against the backdrop of their family history. When Benjy and David visit their grandmother in Poland, this is the place where Jesse Eisenberg’s real-life ancestors settled in the diaspora. Benjy Kaplan: We move, we stay light, we stay agile. Benji Kaplan: The conductor comes and takes our tickets, we tell him we’re going to the bathroom. David Kaplan: Bathroom. Benji Kaplan: He reaches the end of the train and starts moving to the front to look for those who have left. David Kaplan: Sorry, are we behind?
By the time he gets off, the train is in the station and we’re free to go home. David Kaplan: That’s so fucking stupid. The tickets must be twelve bucks. Benji Kaplan: It’s a principle. We don’t have to pay for train tickets in Poland. This is our country. David Kaplan: No, that’s not it, it was our country.
They kicked us out because they thought we were cheap. Aired on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #46.44 (2024). 12 Etudes, Op. 25, No. 3 in F Major Composer: Frederic Chopin Performed by: Zvi Erez. He usually brings an edginess and smart, snappy dialogue to his roles. He’s now won the Waldo Salt Award for Best Screenplay at the Sundance Film Festival for his recently released film REAL PAIN.
Eisenberg produced, wrote, and directed this “drama” about the relationship between estranged cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin). Benji is a sensitive, highly emotional person grieving the loss of his grandmother, with whom he was very close. They go on a trip to Poland together, joining a group of Jewish tour guides, which naturally evokes a variety of complex emotions. It’s a great film with fully fleshed out characters that really develop as the events unfold. It’s clear that they’re both going through something, as is everyone in this film. The script is well crafted and has the perfect mix of emotion and comedy. This is actually Eisenberg’s second film that he’s written and directed, the first being WHEN YOU FINISH SAVE THE WORLD, which is now on my watch list.
When I saw The Descendants, I knew Kieran Culkin was amazing, and he was even better in this. Having said that, I can’t help but mention Eisenberg’s performance. In some ways, it’s harder to play an underrated role, which he does well. A film about generational trauma, different types of pain, and the human condition. Two Harkonnen sisters fight forces that threaten the future of humanity and found the legendary sect that would become known as the Bene Gesserit. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are the essence of science fiction. Anderson. A prequel to the original Dinah, it tells the story of how the Rossak Brotherhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit.
The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice was taken from the incident called “Mentats from Dune”. The three books intertwine the development of the Brotherhood, Mentat, Navigator and Suk Doctor. The first episode of Dune Prophecy, HBO Max’s new foray into space by Frank Herbert, unfortunately feels dull and uninspired. Despite the ambitious source material, the episode struggles to capture the charm and depth that Dina is known for.
The pacing is very off, the scenes feel rushed and lack the space needed to build tension or atmosphere. In their effort to cram too much into an hour, the episode becomes a chaotic barrage of nonstop dialogue, sacrificing narrative flow and engagement. Moments that should have made sense are undermined is cut hastily, leaving little room for emotional or thematic resonance. Visually, Dune Prophecy suffers from a continuation of the drab, industrial aesthetic seen in recent Dune adaptations.
The set and costume design feel sterile and monotonous, failing to convey the complex, lived-in atmosphere of Herbert’s world. This lack of The lack of visual and atmospheric variety detracts from the sense of wonder and otherworldly grandeur that Dune demands. While the episode focuses heavily on expository dialogue to set up the plot, it neglects to establish the world itself. The complex political and cultural dynamics that define Dune It feels superficial, and the lack of atmospheric “vibes” leaves the space hollow and uninviting.
Ultimately, Dune Prophecy struggles to find a balance between exposition and immersion, resulting in an episode that feels more like a rushed recap than a compelling introduction to the series. .
